A few words about the musicians

Yogev Shetrit an international composer and drummer was born in 1978. Earned his BA in Musicology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Shetrit was the founder and member of the famous worldwide Coolooloosh band. Shetrit has performed with notable artists, including Chuchito Valdez, Tia Fuller, Arnie Lawrence, Paulo Morello, & Kevin Mahogany.

Shetrit, a composer at heart, created his trio in 2016 in order to play his original compositions. He recorded as a bandleader and composer his first studio album, “New Path”. Since then, the Yogev Shetrit Trio has performed, in over 30 countries, at some of the largest festivals & venues worldwide, including The International Panama Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center, Washington, DC. Casa Del Jazz, Rome, Italy and more. In addition, Shetrit has released two studio albums and one Live album, now he is currently working on his 3rd studio album that will be released in 2023.

David Sheetrit is a musician and composer who comes from the world of jazz. For years he lived in New York and attended the New School, the esteemed and considered Parsons University of New York University. For a long time, he was present behind the scenes as a gifted pianist who knew from a very young age that this was the profession he wanted to pursue. Everything changed a few years ago, when he realized that it was his inner truth that led him to stop being afraid and move to the front of the stage. Black & White, recently released, is the first song from his debut album, an emotionally wrapped, complex yet delicate melody accompanied by an electronic sound that combines unique pop with the influences of Soul and jazz. As with the debut single, so with the rest of the EP album expected to be released in the coming months, it will be possible to hear Sheetrit's abilities as a singer-songwriter with an intimate delivery, a distant tone, and even a bit dreamy, alongside the songs he wrote and composed when most of them deal with love and longing.

Alexandros Panagiotou is a professional bass player from Limassol, Cyprus. He started his studies at an early age in Cyprus with teachers like Giorgos Krasides and Andreas Rodosthenous as he was playing with various projects form ages 13 to 20. At 20 he started his studies at Codarts Conervatory of the Arts in the Netherlands in the Latin Department where he performed with a lot of Jazz and Latin projects. Currently he is finishing his degree in Cyprus at University of Nicosia where he is still perfoming Latin and Jazz music.
