Un~Silent place: Stathis Anninos Trio & Cyprus String Quartet

Un-Silent place is a multi-dimensional work for Piano Trio and String Quartet. It is an imaginary "place" of coexistence and meeting of different musical influences that crystallize into a solid, pure and contrasting personal sound of the pianist and composer Stathis Anninos.

The compositions narrated without being trapped in a narrow descriptive framework, the Unconscious, Dream, Agony, Love, Harmolypi (joyful sadness), in conclusion the contrasts that define human nature.

The music evolves with a cinematic feel through intense sound "images" and mixes the rich timbres and lyricism of strings with the dynamic sound of a Piano Trio, creating unpredictable and interesting admixtures from a wide range of Classical music from Baroque till the 20th century, while through improvisations, it expands by "conversing" with Jazz, Third Stream, Minimalism and World Music.
