Trio in Cahoots

The acoustic jazz band “Trio in Cahoots” will be perfororming at Technopolis 20 garden, under the August’s moon, on Sunday, 18th of August, at 8pm. The trio constist of Kakia Fesa on vocals, Antreas Yerolatsitis on guitar and Kyriacos Kesta on double bass. 

The trio performs songs from a wide range of repertoire – including standards from the Jazz repertoire as well as songs from the pop, folk and latin genre – always with improvisational intentions and adapted to the cozy vibe of the acoustic trio. They will present songs from many legendary artists including Antonio Carlos Jobim and Nick Drake as well as songs from the jazz and pop repertoire.

As part of our 10-year celebration, we've curated a diverse programme that showcases talented musicians across various genres, instruments, and styles. Enjoy jazz, ethnic or fusion music, a rock band, or a traditional ensemble under the starry sky until October.

A few words about the musicians

Kyriakos Kesta is a Cypriot Double bass player from Limassol. He took his first bass lessons at the age of 15 when he started studying at the Limassol Music High School. Since then, he's been an active member of the Cypriot jazz scene, having played with a lot of different bands and musicians. 

In 2022, he graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, where he studied under the supervision of Clemens van Der Feen and Gulli Gudmundsson. He has participated in various festivals and venues in Cyprus and abroad, including the 'Rialto Showcase', 'Pomos Paradise Festival', 'Rhodos International Festival', 'Athens Technopolis Festival', 'Leiden Jazz & Blues Festival' and others.

Antreas Yerolatsitis is a Cypriot Jazz guitar player. He was born in 1988 in Nicosia, Cyprus.

At the age of 6, he started classical piano lessons at a music school in Nicosia. At the age of 15, he had his first classical guitar studies, for one year along with the piano. From the age of 16 to 20 he had rock/blues guitar and modern music theory lessons.

In his 20th year, he moved to Rotterdam for a year, to prepare himself for the entrance examinations of the various conservatories of the Netherlands. He had lessons with teachers like Ed Verhoef and Peter Nieuwerf.

In 2009 he was accepted in the Royal Conservatory of The Hague as a Jazz Guitar performance bachelor student. After the bachelor he got into the master’s program of the Royal Conservatory from where he graduated in the summer of 2015. Since then, he has been performing on a regular basis with various projects and groups in musical events, festivals, and various stages and clubs, along with music teaching.

Kakia Fesa is a jazz vocalist from Limassol, Cyprus. Her musical journey began at the age of 11 when she started playing violin and piano, and by the age of 16, she started her vocal training. Kakia studied music - jazz vocals at Bath Spa University, the United Kingdom, and furthered her vocal studies in The Netherlands. Her musical contributions to various bands and projects have taken her to stages across the United Kingdom, Cyprus and The Netherlands.
