About the Event
On Tuesday, 16th of July at 8pm, Technopolis 20 welcomes in its garden, the Cyprus-based music group Rumba Attack featuring the soprano Mariza Anastasiades.
Rumba Attack who consists of Constantinos Lyras (guitar), Memnon Arestis (guitar), and Savvas Thoma (cajon, percussion, vocals), will perform original instrumental material as well as select covers in their distinctive Flamenco-Rumba style, blended with sounds from Middle Eastern and Greek origins, rock, and bossa nova.
After nearly 10 years of countless performances by the 3 musicians, the new album - consisting of 11 tracks of which 9 are original compositions and 2 Greek song covers - is testament to the hard work and artistry that the band has put into creating their unique sound.
During their live shows, they regularly feature guest artists on vocals, lyra, trumpet, flute, saxophone, and various percussion instruments. This time, they will be joined on stage by Cypriot soprano Mariza Anastasiades,…
