Petrideio Foundation invites you to spend a beautiful evening dedicated to French music and poetry in the warm atmosphere of Technopolis 20, on Thursday 30th of October, at 8pm.
The concert program will feature charming miniatures for piano and voice by Fauré and Debussy. We will walk through the ruins of an abbey and listen to "the cool echoes mingled with the wind." We will witness a stunning sunset, reflect on our life and then be enchanted by the starry night, lulled by dreams filled with cherished imagery. You will also hear arrangements of Greek songs by Ravel — pieces where the beauty of folklore blends with the elegance of impressionist harmonies. From there, we will gently drift into Greek and Cypriot melodies, brought to life by voice and piano, as well as by flute and accordion with melodies that emerged from folklore elements.
