About the Event
‘Kyprothen Trio’ present their music work at Technopolis 20 garden, on August 6, at 8pm. The trio that consists of Pantelis Constantinou (electric bass), Dimitris Terpizis (drums) and Moses Joseph (keyboards and piano) propose a fusion of contemporary jazz music with traditional elements of Greek and Cypriot Music.
All three members of the band are studying Jazz Music at the Conservatory of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Three Cypriot musicians in a foreign country, having as a common ground their love for their place of origin and its music, along with their passion of jazz music, led to the creation of the ‘kyprothen’. Basic characteristics of their music are the volatile rhythms of Fusion-Jazz in harmonious combination with advanced traditional character.
