The Paphos Kidney Association and Paphos Music Lovers present the charity event “Winter Music Festival” in Paphos, with three recitals at Technopolis 20 and one at Agia Kyriaki Church, St. Paul's Pillar. All proceeds will be given for the purchase of a new dialysis machine for the Renal Unit at Paphos General Hospital.

Tuesday, 21st of November, 8pm, Technopolis 20, “MADRIGALS & MORE”
The festival will start on Tuesday, 21st of November, at 8pm, with the recital “MADRIGALS & MORE” at Technopolis 20, with the choirs ‘Tête-à-Tête’ and ‘Sine Nomine’. Their programme will include works by Dowland, Henry VIII, Gibbons, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams.

‘Tête-à-Tête’ is a group of six singers from the UK who love singing and have experience of being choir members in Cyprus and in the UK. ‘Sine Nomine’ was established in 2015 from a group of experienced singers wanting to form a small a capella choir. Their aim was to enjoy singing, whilst working to improve technique, tuning and blend.

Thursday, 23rd of November, 8pm, Technopolis 20, ‘FIVE PIANISTS’
In the second concert of the “Winter Music Festival”, five pianists will perform solo, duos and even six hands works. The programme will include works by Mozart, Schumann, Saint- Saëns, Liszt, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Shostakovich and Piazzolla. The performers are: Yiannis Georgiou, Nina Ioannidou, Galina Dimova, Natalia Lezedova and Ivelina Ruseva.

Saturday, 25th of November, 8pm, Technopolis 20, ‘WOODWIND WORLD’
The last concert at Technopolis 20 has the title “Woodwind world” concert, where George Georgiou (clarinet), Virginie Bove (flute) and Gergana Georgieva (piano) will perform works by Saint-Saëns, Debussy and Faure.

Monday, 27th of November, 6pm, Agia Kyriaki Church at St. Paul's Pillar, ‘ORGAN RECITAL’
The Winter Music Festival will conclude its concerts with the Organ Recital with the organist at the Anglican Church, Paul Timmins. The programme will include works by Bach, Elgar, Messiaen, Dupre.
Free Entrance. Donations are welcome for the Pafos Kidney Association new dialysis machine fund.
